Graduation rates

Regarding outcomes for our MS Anatomy graduates, we encourage our graduates to look far and wide. The anatomy graduate curriculum prepares graduates for medical school anywhere in the world.

Acceptance rates in Professional Schools

The MS Anatomy program was built on a track record of success by the Department of Structural and Cellular Biology in running the Anatomy Certification Program which started in 1996. So, in terms of experience in preparing students for medical school, the Department of Structural and Cellular Biology at Tulane Medical School has great experience. 91% of the founding class of graduates in 2013 were successful in getting invitations to interview at US medicals schools and 73% were successfully accepted. Although the current 2015 class has yet to graduate, 37% have already been invited to interview at medical school (even without a final graduate GPA) and 11% have been accepted to US and non-US medical schools. One student in the Class of 2015 has been interviewed at 6 US medical schools and been accepted at 4 of those schools. In the last 3 years, 66.67% of graduates from the MS Anatomy program have been accepted into medical schools within and outside the US.
